Bond Office/Construction Services
Under the leadership of the Chief of Operations, the Executive Director of Maintenance, Operations and Transportation and the Maintenance and Grounds Supervisor, The Bond Office is responsible for all construction services in the District.
Goals:
Provide quality sustaniable facilities to enhance the teaching and learning environment of the District.
Manage the architectural and engineering design for bond funded construction projects.
Manage the construction of bond funded school projects.
Oversee the procurement of fixures, furniture and equipment for new schools and aditions to existing facilities.
Assist in the administration of construction related warranties, and
Oversee a construction safety program to ensure safe activities on all campuses during construction projects.
May 2015 Bond:
On May 9, 2015, voters in Lancaster, Texas passed a 125.9 million bond election to construct facilities and to renovate others. The Bond projects included:
