On Saturday, June 6, Lancaster Independent School District held its commencement ceremony for the Lancaster High School Class of 2022. A total of 501 Lancaster High School seniors celebrated a four-year journey full of hard work, academic success, and irreplaceable memories during the graduation held at the University of Texas at Arlington’s College Park Center.
District administrators, school board members, and special guests, including the city of Lancaster Mayor, city manager, and city council members, praised the students of the LHS Class of 2022, congratulating them on a successful school year. Despite the uncertainty of the pandemic and the academic rigor of high school, 100% of the class of 2022 walked the stage and received their diplomas. In addition, the graduating seniors are leaving Lancaster High School with more than $19 million in scholarships, thanks to the help of the LHS College and Career Center counselors.
Furthermore, several members of the Class of 2022 graduated with one of the more than 500 industry-based certifications earned this school year, college credits, or an associate’s degree.
Congratulations to the Class of 2022! You may be leaving Lancaster ISD, but once a Tiger, always a Tiger! You will always be a part of the Lancaster ISD family.
