Lancaster ISD trustees have approved a one-time incentive payment of $400 for fully vaccinated and boosted district employees.
An individual’s choice to participate in the incentive is voluntary and is being offered to proactively fight the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and keep teachers healthy for in-person instruction.
Lancaster ISD full-time and part-time staff members, employed by the district no later than December 1, 2021, and substitutes who have worked at least 30 school days by January 31, 2022, can receive the one-time payment. The only requirement is that employees are fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19 and choose to share proof of vaccination.
The district’s vaccination verification process will start February 1, 2022, through March 18, 2022. During that time frame, employees must submit verification of their fully vaccinated and booster status to be eligible for the incentive.
The one-time incentive payment will be paid by the end of April 2022. On the published payroll date, active employment status is required to receive the incentive payment.
Employees who choose to participate in the incentive will receive payments according to the payment breakdown listed below:
Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 Vaccination Shot-$200
First Dose of Pfizer or Moderna Vaccination Shot-$100
Second Dose of Pfizer or Moderna Vaccination Shot- $100
Booster Shot of Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, or Moderna-$200
How to Provide Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination and Booster
- Complete and submit the COVID-19 Vaccine and Booster Incentive Request Form. Once your form has been submitted, it will be received by Human Resources.
- Take your original COVID-19 vaccination card to your campus nurse for verification and to make a copy for our records.
- If your campus does not have a nurse, please take your original COVID-19 vaccination card to the Director of Health Services, Nurse Debra Obera, located at Lancaster Middle School on Fridays between 9:30 - 11:30 am or 2:00 - 4:00 pm.
- Non-campus staff will also submit their original vaccination cards to the Director of Health Services, Nurse Debra Obera who will make a copy for the records.
- Health Services will verify original documents against the Request Form submission.
- District administrators will verify incentive amounts.
- Fully vaccinated and booster proof must be submitted to LISD between February 1-March 18, 2022. This is a one-time incentive, which will be paid by the end of April 2022. In order to receive the incentive, active employment status is required on the published payroll date.
