July 15, 2024, Lancaster ISD/Lancaster, Texas -- Lancaster ISD is excited to announce its upcoming back-to-school event that will provide students with much-needed supplies, backpacks, physicals, and more. The Back-to-School bash will take place on Saturday, August 3, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Lancaster High School.
Lancaster ISD students of all ages are invited to attend the event and receive a free backpack (while supplies last), and school supplies, including notebooks, pencils, and other essentials.
Lancaster ISD recognizes that the cost of school supplies can burden many families, and the Back-to-School bash aims to help alleviate some of that stress. All Lancaster ISD students are encouraged to register to attend the bash and take advantage of the resources.
"Our goal in Lancaster ISD is to make sure that every student in our community has the tools they need to succeed in school," said Chief of Student Services, Dr. Marcus Jackson. "By providing the basic needs such as school supplies, haircuts, and backpacks, we hope to make the start of the school year easier for families."
The Lancaster ISD Back-to-School bash aims to create a positive start to the school year for students in the community. By providing these resources, the district helps set students up for success in and out of the classroom.
