February 25, 2025, Lancaster ISD/Lancaster, TX -- Lancaster ISD’s Special Education Department is excited to host the Transition & Community Resource Fair on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lancaster High School Indoor Facility. This free community event will provide students and families with access to vital resources for educational planning, employment services, healthcare options, and resources for students with special needs life after high school.
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a variety of support services and programs, including funding sources, Texas Workforce Solutions, Maximus long-term support, and Equus Workforce Solutions. Representatives from state and local agencies will also be available to provide guidance and answer questions about students with special needs transitioning into adulthood.
Beyond informational resources, the event will feature exciting attractions, including a car show, food trucks, and vendors, making it a fun and engaging experience for all attendees.
