Updated Wednesday, January 8 at 2:30 pm: Due to inclement weather conditions, all Lancaster ISD district offices and campuses will be closed on Thursday, January 9, and Friday, January 10. All sporting events and after-school activities scheduled for these days are also canceled.
Lancaster High School varsity basketball games will be held on Saturday, January 11, at the LHS Coliseum: girls at 3:00 PM and boys at 5:00 PM.
The district will continue to monitor weather conditions and will welcome students and staff back to school on Monday, January 13, 2025.
Lancaster ISD is currently monitoring the Winter Storm Watch that has been issued for Thursday, January 9, 2025.
As a reminder, Lancaster ISD will always communicate with its stakeholders first regarding inclement weather delays or closings. If a decision is made to close or delay school, district officials will send out a notification as soon as possible and no later than 5:30 am on the day of school through the communication channels listed below:
