LANCASTER, Texas -- The Lancaster ISD Emergent Bilingual Department has partnered with The Concilio to bring the Parents Advocating for Student Excellence, or PASE, program to parents in the district. Over the nine-week program, more than 30 parents will learn about the public school system, communicating with teachers and counselors, and promoting learning at home. The Concilio teaches the sessions in Lancaster ISD in Spanish but offers all programs in English and Spanish.
The program began on October 5 with orientation and will conclude with a graduation ceremony on December 6. The sessions take place on Wednesday mornings in the Multicultural Center at Houston Elementary.

October 26 - Week 4: Parents are the First Teachers
November 2 - Week 5: Promoting Reading at Home
November 9 - Week 6: Promoting STEM at Home
November 16 - Week 7: Understanding the Education System
November 30 - Week 8: Academic Standards
December 6 - Week 9: Graduation
