Lancaster High School Announces Homecoming Festivities

September 20, 2024, Lancaster ISD/Lancaster, TX --We are excited to celebrate Homecoming 2024! We have a great homecoming week planned and look forward to our community members joining in on the celebration. Please see the information below for the upcoming public homecoming events.

Lancaster High School Homecoming Parade

  • Date: Monday, October 21, 2024

  • Time: 5:30 pm

  • Parade Route: The Lancaster High School Homecoming Parade route will begin at the Lancaster Historic Town Square, down Dallas Avenue to Beverly D. Humphrey Tiger Stadium.

    • The entry fee for the parade is $30 and must be paid online through MySchoolBucks. Click HERE to pay the registration fee.

    • Please note. you will not be added to the parade line up if you are not registered and have not paid the fee.

    Please note the following:

  • The deadline to register for the parade is Wednesday, October 16, 2024.

  • Parade Check-in will begin at 3:15pm on Monday, October 21, at the Lancaster Historic Town Square. 

  • Participants should plan to arrive early to avoid congestion and delay to the line-up process.

  • Participants will follow the designated parade route from Lancaster Historic Town Square, down Dallas Ave, until the entire vehicle/group has reached the visitors side of the Beverly D. Humphrey Tiger Stadium.

  • The parade route will be clearly marked.

  • All registered participants will receive an email with specific details about the check-in process, parade route, and parking by October 16, 2024.

Lancaster High School Community Pep Rally

After the homecoming parade, we will continue the homecoming celebration with a community pep rally that will begin at the conclusion of the parade.

  • Date: Monday, October 21, 2024

  • Time: 6:30 pm (Directly after the conclusion of the LHS Homecoming Parade)

  • Location: Front entry of the Beverly D. Humphrey Tiger Stadium 200 E. Wintergreen Rd. Lancaster, TX 75134

  • Cost: Free Entry

Event Details

  • Be sure to join us for the LHS Homecoming Community Pep Rally directly after the parade! We'll announce the LHS Homecoming sweethearts and beaus and have the band and cheerleaders lead us in cheers to support our fighting Tigers. It's a chance to unite as a community and show your support for LHS!

  • At the conclusion of the parade, please park in the home side parking lot or LHS campus parking. Visitor parking will be used for parade participants to drop off their floats.

Lancaster High School Homecoming Tailgate

We love our Tiger fans, supporters, and our alumni! We invite you all to have a great time at homecoming starting with the Tiger Tailgate!

  • Date: Friday, October 25, 2024

  • Time: 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

  • Location: In front of Tiger Stadium

  • Cost: Free Entry

The Tiger Tailgate will feature an opportunity for alumni classes and community members to set up and grill on-site. Spaces for grilling are limited, and all participants must sign up in advance. Confirmation emails will be sent to those approved for grilling. Without confirmation, individuals will not be able to set up and grill during the tailgate. Please note that no alcoholic beverages or prohibited items are allowed on school property. 

Grilling Setup Information:

  • Sign-up required: Spaces are limited, and individuals must sign up to grill.

  • Only small grills are allowed and food must be free. Individuals are not allowed to sell food without a permit on school property.

  • Registration and Confirmation needed: Only those who receive a confirmation email will be allowed to set up and grill.

  • Setup Time: 4:30 PM

  • Tailgate End time: 7:30 PM

  • Grilling Equipment: Both gas and charcoal/wood grills are permitted. For charcoal/wood grills, please ensure ashes are properly disposed of in trash cans provided on-site. Ash dumping on the property is strictly prohibited.
