April 25, 2024, Lancaster ISD/Lancaster, TX --Lancaster ISD is proud to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, scheduled for May 6 through May 10. In recognition of the dedicated educators who inspire, empower, and roar for success in our district, the Lancaster ISD Board of Trustees, alongside Superintendent Perera, have passed a resolution in honor of this significant week.
This resolution reflects the district's deep appreciation for the hard work and commitment of its teachers. It acknowledges their vital role and support they provide students, and aims to provide its educators with true appreciation, during the special week.
Several local businesses and national companies will be offering special discounts and gifts to honor our educators, as a token of gratitude for their invaluable contribution to our community. Lancaster ISD encourages everyone to join in celebrating and supporting our teachers during this week and beyond.
It's more than just a week of appreciation—it's a celebration of the spirit that our educators bring to the educational journey of every student.
